what have you learnt from your audience feedback?
I have interviewed molly who is our target audience, we consider all aspects of her feedback as it is important for us to hear her opinion as our target audience, but overall having feedback from the start of our project to the end has helped us dramatically improve our music video. we can see this from our initial screening and what feedback was given to us and then you can visually see how we took that on board and developed the feedback into our final music video. We have recovered why feedback is so important as without it we wouldn't of been able to make the improvements to our music video.

in what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products
In our own music video we have adopted some conventions of a pop genre music video, we have done this in order for our target audience to be able to relate to the music video, as our target audience are females around 17-18. we decided that in our music video our female actress would take on a traditional representation of women, which Taylor swift also does in her music video 'i knew you were trouble'. Men are most likely portrayed as cheats and disrespectful to women in music video's especially pop music video's as the majority of the time they are sung by women and targeted at a young female audience which enables the target audience to relate to the video. Although in our video we have the conventional boy girl love romance scenario, we don't actually see the boy cheating, throughout the video we can see that they have an unhealthy relationship and that we doesn't treat her the right way. We have used conventional shot types in our music video which are used within the pop genre, we have used various close ups and mid shots and on occasions long shots, in i knew you were trouble there are similar mid shots and close ups, we have decided to develop these shots in our own media product as they are used so the audience can see the performers emotions clearly during performer shots. throughout Taylor's video shots and scenes are cut to the match the pace of the music, we have also done this during our editing when we here the chorus 'trouble' we have made quick cuts to different shots to match the pace of the music and also to keep the audience engaged whilst watching the music video. We have also cut up scenes and shots through the narrative we have done this so the audience can see changes in our performers relationship and the song continues.
